- Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include IT administration, user administration, system maintenance, IT documentation, policy and process writing, IT auditing, MSP liaison, IT project support and user training

About the Role
In recent years, the Technical Operations (TechOps) division has invested heavily in the company’s IT infrastructure and functionality. The supportive and friendly team are looking for a new colleague to help deliver first-class systems administration, a wide variety of cloud IT projects, process optimisations and skill-sharing, whilst retaining the personal touch Costello Medical employees have come to know and love.
Key responsibilities will include:
- General administration of Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory and the Cloud Storage solution
- Setting up and issuing hardware (e.g. laptops to users) as well as managing equipment lifecycles such as retirement and disposal, and maintaining an accurate asset database
- Endpoint administration via Microsoft Intune and Conditional Access policies
- Delivering a wide range of IT projects with change control procedures. This will include performing research, testing, deployment and project appraisals
- Collaborating with the MSP to deliver projects, administration or deskside user support
- Supporting with the response to any real or suspected cyber security incident, such as phishing notifications or Microsoft Defender alerts
- Creating and maintaining IT-related documentation such as process guides, training guides and company policies
- Providing training to end users on the company’s IT systems and equipment
- Conducting audits across systems to facilitate wider processes or ensure policy compliance
- Researching and procuring new software/SaaS products and hardware, in keeping with the latest enterprise technology
- Visiting other offices to stay connected with the team, wider company, and to complete local tasks

About You
The IT Administrator role is suitable for individuals who are motivated to progress their career with a forward-thinking, award-winning global business.
Essential requirements for the role are:
- At least 1 year of experience in a related role, which may include IT security, project delivery, systems administration or working on an IT service desk. Alternatively, we welcome applications from candidates with entry level industry standard qualifications such as those produced by CompTIA, Microsoft or ITIL
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with Windows and Microsoft Cloud Solutions (Azure, Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Intune)
- An understanding of the Microsoft 365 environment and willingness to learn other company systems
- Exceptional organisational skills and a proven ability to exceed deadlines
- The ability to conduct work on projects in a focused way, providing pragmatic solutions to resolve potential problems
- The ability to plan and prioritise your own time and coordinate with others
- The ability to communicate confidently and professionally, whether verbally or in writing, to both technical and non-technical audiences
- A ‘can do’ attitude, with a strong customer focus at all times
- A good level of proficiency in written English and arithmetic
Desired requirements for the role are:
- Experience with asset management, cloud storage, Adobe products, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
- A desire to build Information Security and Cyber Security skills
- An aptitude in cloud storage solutions and MacOS

The Recruitment Process
Our recruitment process includes an assessment and presentation for you to complete remotely. If successful, you will be invited to an interview. Our standard recruitment process typically lasts three weeks, however, for candidates who can complete the assessments promptly, the process can be completed in as little as two weeks.
We are currently recruiting for start dates throughout 2022, which occur on a monthly basis. We also welcome applications for start dates in 2023.
