As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide appropriate care and support as defined in the Care Plan, with the aim of rehabilitating and maximizing the patient’s potential. Key Responsibilities:
- Visit patients in their own homes and provide appropriate care and support, including aspects of personal care, hygiene, and uncomplicated nursing procedures.
- Support and enable patients in a range of activities to promote independent living and monitor their well-being.
- Undertake administration and clerical tasks, including record keeping and the use of a computer.
- Support the patient’s carer as needed.

Requirements:
- Qualifications: You must have good numeracy and literacy skills and an NVQ Level 3 or a willingness to work towards this qualification.
- Experience: Practical experience in a care setting and an understanding of the needs of elderly patients are essential.
- Skills: The ability to use your own initiative where necessary.
- Other: You must hold a full, valid UK driving license and have access to a car for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
