Join the Leading Haematology Team – Shape the Future of Advanced Paediatric Haemato-Oncology Care.
Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH), one of the UK’s largest and most dynamic teaching hospitals, is seeking a talented individual to join our renowned Centre for Clinical Haematology. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to our advanced haemato-oncology services, including cutting-edge treatments for leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and bone marrow transplantation (BMT).
We welcome applications from consultants with a special interest in Paediatric Haemato oncology as well as:
- Malignant Haematology: AML, ALL, CLL, lymphoma, myeloma, or BMT.
- Advanced Therapies: CAR-T, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies.
- Research & Innovation: Expand our portfolio of clinical trials and translational research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead inpatient and outpatient haemato-oncology services.
- Participate in regional MDTs and specialist clinics (e.g., lymphoma, myeloma).
- Supervise junior staff and contribute to teaching (undergraduate/postgraduate).
- Optional involvement in non-malignant haematology (e.g., thrombosis, haemostasis) if desired.
Job Plan:
- 10 PAs (8 DCC, 2 SPA), flexible to align with subspecialty interests.
- On-call: 1:5 non-resident rota (Category A, 5% supplement).
Who We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Full GMC registration (or eligibility within 6 months) and CCT/equivalent in Clinical Haematology.
- FRCPath and MRCP (or equivalents).
- Proven expertise in malignant haematology and commitment to multidisciplinary care.

Desirable:
- Research publications or trial experience.
- Leadership in service development or education.
