The Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse to join the pastoral team. This is a part-time position, with flexibility on start date—either immediately or in August, depending on availability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing and coordinating all student health needs, including in-school vaccinations and health consultations.
- Providing medical guidance and training for teaching staff.
- Screening younger students and supporting the school’s safeguarding practices.
- Acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
- Supporting the development and review of health-related policies and undertaking relevant administrative tasks.
Candidate Profile:
The School is looking for a Registered Nurse (RGN or RSCN) with:
- A genuine passion for supporting the health and well-being of children and young people.
- Previous experience in a school nursing or paediatric setting.
- Strong safeguarding knowledge and the ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Swedish (verbal and written) is preferred.
- A proactive, empathetic, and collaborative approach.
