Qualifications

Essential criteria

Degree in physiotherapy or equivalent
HCPC registration
accredited student educator

Desirable criteria

Post grad training / Qualification in relevant topics
Post graduate qualification / experience in leadership

Experience

Essential criteria

Ability to demonstrate significant consolidated clinical experience at senior level in acute specialities
Able to work alone and as part of a team
Ability to demonstrate clinical experience in specialist setting

Skills , knowledge and ability

Essential criteria

Must possess advanced verbal and communication skills
Ability to manage highly complex caseload
Ability to analyse, select and apply appropriate physiotherapy interventions from a range of modalities
Evidence of improvements in practice
Ability to monitor and manage the performance of staff within the team

Desirable criteria

Experience in running or involvement in clinical or service audit
Member of relevant CSP special interest group or equivalent

Commitment to CPD
