Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Degree in physiotherapy or equivalent
- HCPC registration
- accredited student educator
Desirable criteria
- Post grad training / Qualification in relevant topics
- Post graduate qualification / experience in leadership
Experience
Essential criteria
- Ability to demonstrate significant consolidated clinical experience at senior level in acute specialities
- Able to work alone and as part of a team
- Ability to demonstrate clinical experience in specialist setting
Skills , knowledge and ability
Essential criteria
- Must possess advanced verbal and communication skills
- Ability to manage highly complex caseload
- Ability to analyse, select and apply appropriate physiotherapy interventions from a range of modalities
- Evidence of improvements in practice
- Ability to monitor and manage the performance of staff within the team
Desirable criteria
- Experience in running or involvement in clinical or service audit
- Member of relevant CSP special interest group or equivalent

- Commitment to CPD
- To accept change and help support others during times of transition
